Kitchen Inspiration

Our kitchen is one of the rooms in my house that I sit and daydream about re-doing. It is going to have to be one of those projects that get done little by little, but I have been collecting ideas so that I don't forget what I want to do. That is why I came up with this inspiration board. Next time we get a little bit of money to put into the kitchen, I'll have my ideas at the ready. It might not be as far away as I think!

I love slate floors! They are perfect for a kitchen. So fun seeing you Sat. night, too! (For the brief second that it was!) We DEFINITELY need to get together soon. I would love to get Amy, Sarah, and Mandy to meet up again, also! When can we do that...?

Yep, big fan of open shelving over here. Keeps you accountable (organization) and costs much less!
Oh, and I voted for your car tip. Which was a great one; I am going to put into practice!

You can always get Kristen to put her handy kitchen renovation skills to work (in exchange for your beautiful jewelry?)...Erin (K10's SIL)

PS - your green bean recipe from Thanksgiving has become a regular and favorite Langston dish...yum

Good stuff. This reminded me of my own "back-burnered" kitchen dreams. In a room that sees so much constant action it's tough to finish a decorating tangent. "But that's no excuse to give up", I said and went right in and decluttered and organized until I could see again where the whole thing is headed.
Thanks Amanda!
