While I'm on the subject of art, I'll share another one of my favorite artists and good friend, David Arms. When I was in college, one of my art classes went to visit David's studio. At the time he was doing these gorgeous mixed media quilts as well as other paintings and I remember being so impressed with his work. His art was one of the reasons that I decided to change my major from early childhood development to fine art. It wasn't until much later that our families became fast friends. You can find the pieces shown here along with other paintings equally as good.
