Grant me peace and organization

So, this is what the two little kids have been doing to their room since Estelle was born. (And just so you know, I recently did ALL their dirty laundry. I think half of these clothes are straight from their drawers.) They broke a bed. There is absolutely NO organization.
So, I'm contemplating cleaning it. Just contemplating though. No real efforts made to get it done other than posting this miserable mess on my blog. Part of me hopes that the boys will be horrified that I posted these awful pictures and get to cleaning it themselves. But I think I'm dreaming.
How do you get your kids to clean their rooms?

Ug. I can't. They aren't really old enough, but I wish they were! I spent hours, literally, cleaning the bathroom and then repairing the toilet that broke during a vigorous scrub and emerged to find that my 3 yr old had trashed nearly every single room. It's like shoveling snow in a blizzard!

I feel your pain, Ariana! But I'm glad to know I'm not the only mom battling her little cyclones! ;-)

I don't have any tips for you as I still pretty much have to be the one who cleans up but every other week I go into Maggie's room and emerge with a trash bag full of stuff. She loves to keep everything - toilet paper tubes, rubber bands, empty Gatorade bottles, etc. When she sees what I've done she loves it but it doesn't stay clean for too long.

Oh, my kids love to keep trash too. Part of me loves it because they're being creative, but most of me loathes it and the chaos it brings. Arrggg...
