Christmas Spirit

I've been relating to Scrooge this season. Partly because I was pregnant last Christmas too - and I remember how exhausted the season made me and I don't relish the thought of getting that tired again. And partly because the house has been total chaos with the completion of Seth's art show.

But even though I haven't been in a "holiday" spirit, I am in a " I love my kids" spirit and they've been begging for the decorations to be put up. I'm glad I started to decorate, too. Not only does it make my children extremely giddy with happiness and expectation, but their energy is rubbing off on me.

So maybe it's not "Bah humbug" after all.
