The Rick and Dick Hoyt Story

The story of Rick and Dick Hoyt is an amazing one. The father is commited to racing with his son because Ricky could never do it alone. In one interview after a race, a reporter asked Dick why he never did the race alone seeing as how he might actually win that way. Dick replied "Why would I EVER do this without my son?"
When I heard that story, all I could think was Jesus saying that to me in this race of faith we call life. "Amanda, why would I EVER do this without you!" And I know He never would, because he ran the race FOR us, and he is still carrying me through.
