I've been trying to set more stones recently. I have a bunch of gems that I've never used - and it's time to get them in jewelry! This is an opal that I've had for forever, so I finally made a ring for it. So pretty. I love it. It's for sale.
Hooray! I went for a moment thinking I would never get them all done. But here they are. I can't wait to post pictures of the fabulous charms I get in return!
I'm participating in the Etsy Metal Charm Swap, (click on the link to see other people's charms in progress) which means I have to make 22 charms. Each person participating (there are 20 of us) gets one charm of each person's and the two remaining charms will go into the Etsy Metal shop. Mine are close to being done. I'll post a picture when they get there. I need to send them off by Friday or Saturday. I'm trying to breath deep right now. 22 is a lot to make. Here they are in progress:
And his missing teeth are pretty cute. (so's the hat. You can't see it here, but he had on red underwear and no pants - which balanced out the hat nicely.)
...in Etsy's blog The Storque and in the gift guides AND I got into the Etsy Weekend Deals newsletter! I really can't believe it...so happy.... And this is the banner that Etsy made to put on the front page this weekend! Recognize the earrings??

We had an eventful week. Emet got hurt very badly by a friend's dog. So, I posted pictures of our fun day at the Bicentennial Mall the day before, so remind myself of his sweet little baby teeth, which he had to get surgically removed after the bite, because they were fractured. Don't worry, he's doing so much better now - acting just like a three year old should. The doctors think his face will heal completely. We'll just have to wait 3 to 4 years for those teeth to come in. I think I'm the one whose the tiredest now. The Doctor didn't treat the mom. (except when they had to lay me down on the exam table right after it happened because I was about to faint...)
